Private by design.

A scanner shouldn't become another surveillance tool. The app listens for nearby Bluetooth broadcasts without connecting to the devices that send them. Matching happens on your iPhone, and Bluetooth observations aren't uploaded.

  2. Observed Seen on real hardware in our own tests. None published yet.
  3. Inference Our interpretation of the facts, labelled so you can disagree.
  4. Unknown Written down as unknown rather than guessed.

Detection ≠ recording

A likely compatible device is not a camera in use. Bluetooth advertisements carry no recording state for the app to read.
