Privacy
Private by design.
A scanner shouldn't become another surveillance tool. The app listens for nearby Bluetooth broadcasts without connecting to the devices that send them. Matching happens on your iPhone, and Bluetooth observations aren't uploaded.

Reported with the evidence shown, so you can judge it.
Detection ≠ recording
A likely compatible device is not a camera in use. Bluetooth advertisements carry no recording state for the app to read.
